We're all standing on the shoulders of giants, right?

http://ocrterminal.com allows you to turn otherwise useless pdf's into modifiable and improvable documents.

Why do I care about this? It never fails to amaze me how some educators choose not to share their great ideas and hard work. This usually comes in the form of READ ONLY files that, if shared as READ-WRITE, would increase the productivity of the Education2.0 collective locally and globally.

In some cases it's just a lack of know-how when it comes to sharing-time, but I actually have seen this protectionist attitude first hand in schools on more than a few occasions.

It is in these situations I am often transported back to the cold, damp, school sandbox of my childhood. There, Barry Cook is taking one of our class toys and saying, "It's mine," like an AIG exec during bonus season.

All I can ask these people is, "We're all standing on the shoulders of giants, right?"
